We’re looking for a freelance designer to join our team on an hourly basis. This role is ideal for a highly experienced designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can translate complex ideas into compelling visual solutions – primarily digital. You’ll work alongside developers, project managers, and clients to bring ideas to life – from brand systems and websites to reports, campaigns, and real world immersive experiences.

About This Role
Our team creates solutions for international associations, life-changing nonprofits, and enterprise organizations. You’ll be a key contributor in shaping the visual direction of projects – balancing creativity with usability, brand consistency, helping empower our clients and partners as they make real-world impacts.
We’re seeking a designer who:
- Thinks in systems, not just screens
- Can move fluidly between digital experiences and print deliverables
- Is comfortable presenting work and collaborating directly with clients
- Brings both creative vision and production-level execution
Key Qualifications
Strong portfolio demonstrating:
● Web/UI work
● Brand identity systems
● Print design (annual reports, publications, campaigns, etc.)
● Expert proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design
workflows
● Deep understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy across mediums
● Experience designing for both screen and physical outputs (print production knowledge
is a plus)
● Ability to think through systems, not just individual deliverables
● Strong communication skills and ability to present work clearly
● Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines
● Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
Nice-to-Haves:
● Experience working with associations, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations
● Familiarity with web development workflows (component-based design, design systems,
handoff)
● Motion design or light animation skills
● Experience collaborating in tools like Slack, Monday.com, or similar
Key Responsibilities
Lead design execution across a range of projects including:
● Websites and digital platforms
● Brand systems and visual identities
● Marketing campaigns and collateral
● Reports, publications, and print materials
● Translate strategic goals and requirements into thoughtful, user-centered design
solutions
● Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and
implemented accurately
● Present concepts and design rationale to internal teams and clients
● Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining high design standards
● Maintain consistency across brand systems and multi-channel experiences
● Prepare production-ready files for digital and occasionally print
● Contribute to creative direction and brainstorming across projects
